The charging
port is well placed
on the top
left, and the convenience and volume keys are in their standard
positions.
As far as
port, sensor, and button placement is concerned:
on the back, we have our main camera sensor and a LED flash, there's no heart - rate sensor
on the A series;
on the front, we have our proximity and ambient light sensors, a front - facing camera, earpiece, display, back and recent app capacitive keys, and a home button with an integrated touch - based fingerprint sensor (A5 and A7 only);
on the bottom, there's a microphone, 3.5 mm headphone jack, MicroUSB
port, and the speaker grille;
on the top, we have nothing other than the secondary microphone, and, just like the new GS7, there's no IR blaster
on board; and the volume buttons are located
on the
left side of the aluminium frame, while the power button is located
on the right side — all three buttons are very tactile with excellent reachability and
positioning.
The speakers are
positioned on each side of the tablet, along with a 3.5 mm headphone / microphone combo jack, microSD Card slot (expandable up to 128 GB), micro HDMI
port and microUSB 2.0
port on the
left.
The two volume buttons are
positioned on the
left side, a 3.5 mm headset jack is up top, a USB Type - C
port is
on the bottom along with a mono speaker (it's just OK), and the dual rear camera setup is centered
on the upper back.
The USB Type - C
port is centered
on the bottom with the 3.5 mm headset jack

left side of the top.
Three buttons are found
on the right side (volume, power, shutter), the USB
port sits at the bottom edge, while the nano SIM slot is

port), and Samsung bundles in a set of decent AKG wired headphones in the box.
This is the solution we use around the How - To Geek offices; we
leave the webcams in their usual
position atop their respective workstation monitors and then when we need to use them we plug the USB cable into an easily accessible front or top USB
port on the said workstation.
The

on the right edge, the SIM card slot
on the
left, the micro-USB
port at the bottom, and the 3.5 mm headphone jack at the top.

ports on the lower
left side with a microSD card slot, hidden under a long door,
positioned above these two
ports.
