Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are essentially enhanced
ports of the games we got last year, developed by a younger team and released on exactly the same
platform as the previous games released on, instead
of on the Nintendo Switch, which quite frankly, they would have
better suited for.
It's a

good game that relies too heavily on combat rather than
platforming and should only be experienced by those that can't get enough Rayman.

platform has always focused on other genres.

AAA
ports or games that release on other
platforms give their customers plenty
of options (because that's
good business), but it doesn't create a sense
of urgency for anyone to buy VR.
Radiant Games already has plenty
of good games that they
ported over from other
platforms onto Android and now we get one more to add to that list called JoyJoy.
It's an excellent
port, easily the
best of the Final Fantasy games on iOS so far, and worthy
of mention among the
best transplants to the
platform such as Christian Whitehead's Sonic The Hedgehog
ports and Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto conversions.
This fresh
port supports both 50 / 60Hz, and also takes advantage
of the VMU, using it as a
platform to save game states as
well as high scores.
The revelations surrounding the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions
of the game suggests that we are indeed looking at more than just a scaled up
port with a few extra graphical bells and whistles thrown in for
good measure - native resolution is a disappointing 720p on the Microsoft
platform, while on Sony's system the native 1080p presentation is said to be causing some distracting frame - rate issues, something we'll be getting to the bottom
of imminently.
The fact that an Unreal Engine game was
ported so quickly over to Switch and manages to look this nice bodes
well for the future
of the
platform, on UE4 titles at least.
Working closely as part
of their team, Darkwind has added new features specific for the Kindle HDX tablets and Kindle Fire Phone including the innovative Head Tracking API, as

port over all pre-existing iOS functionality to the Android

While Skyrim is going to be releasing a while after the actual launch titles

of Stardew Valley on a portable
