is one of the most
positive people I know, and loves a pick - me - up quote, so I know she will love this.
Society may still
be slightly more inclined to give out medals to women who achieve a DIY vaginal delivery while making disparaging comments
about women who
are «too posh to push,» but the fact remains that if a baby
is born healthy and a woman has had a
positive birth experience, the prospect for their future health and relationship
is equally good, and for most
mothers, that
's all that really matters in the end.

Please
be positive and respectful of each
mother's choice in diapering, the same as you would to each
mother's choice to breast or bottle feed, or to have a natural birth or medicated birth, family bed or crib... There
are lots of sites on the internet, not just this one, that go into great detail
about elimination communication, as well as many support groups which provide tips and encouragement to moms who want to take their relationship with their baby to this new level.
Mothers or fathers who
are seeking to grow as individuals so they can feel more
positive about their parenting role
Some barriers include the negative attitudes of women and their partners and family members, as well as health care professionals, toward breastfeeding, whereas the main reasons that women do not start or give up breastfeeding
are reported to
be poor family and social support, perceived milk insufficiency, breast problems, maternal or infant illness, and return to outside employment.2 Several strategies have
been used to promote breastfeeding, such as setting standards for maternity services3, 4 (eg, the joint World Health Organization — United Nations Children's Fund [WHO - UNICEF] Baby Friendly Initiative), public education through media campaigns, and health professionals and peer - led initiatives to support individual
mothers.5 — 9 Support from the infant's father through active participation in the breastfeeding decision, together with a
positive attitude and knowledge
about the benefits of breastfeeding, has
been shown to have a strong influence on the initiation and duration of breastfeeding in observational studies, 2,10 but scientific evidence
is not available as to whether training fathers to manage the most common lactation difficulties can enhance breastfeeding rates.
The author makes strong statements
about the risks of breastfeeding if a
mother is HIV
positive which
are not supported by current research since there
are many unknown factors involved in maternal - infant transmission of HIV.
As a nursing
mother I
am greatful to you for speeking out in a
positive way
about breastfeeding.
What do we know
about continued breastfeeding - should it
be among the infant feeding options for HIV
positive mothers?
The book review in The Journal of the American Medical Association,
about as establishment a journal as you can find,
was so
positive I
'm convinced my
mother wrote it.
While we can't do much
about our
mothers» diets while they
were pregnant, balancing gut bacteria now and consuming enough beneficial bacteria can have a

been replicated by subsequent research.5, 6 Interestingly, dads who think their kids look like them tend to have more
positive relationships with those children.7 It makes sense that
mothers (and
mothers» relatives)
are more likely to say that a baby looks like the father, possibly as a form of reassuring the father of his paternity.8 Although, to
be fair, there
is just something
about a bald chubby baby that looks more «dad - like» than «mom - like.»
Other comments included: «very
positive about the outcome and looking forward to the years with my daughter», «confident that my mom and I can have more serious conversations», a newfound sense of hope for open communication», «got to bond with my
mother», «the Keynote Speaker
was amazing», «inspired with a sense of clarity.»
In reminiscing
about positive events,
mothers are focused on creating a shared history that maintains emotional bonds, and therefore telling a story such that
mother and child will have a shared understanding of what occurred may
be critical.
Overall,
mothers who
are elaborative when reminiscing
about emotionally
positive events
are also elaborative when reminiscing
about highly negative experiences, such as accidents and injuries requiring emergency room treatment, or natural disasters (Ackil, Van Abbema, & Bauer, 2003; Sales, Fivush, & Peterson, 2003).
The
positive aspects of collaborative divorce can
be unraveled quickly when children witness their
mother and father speaking harshly
about one another, even if the conversation isn't directed at the children.
