Formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin (known carcinogens), camphor (stains nails yellow), xylene (allergen and
possible carcinogen), TPHP and phthalates (both known endocrine disruptors), ethyl tosylamide (banned in Europe because of its antibiotic properties), and toluene (made from coal tar, can cause
damage to internal organs) are found in conventional nail polish but not these.
