But in the end, what really matters most
to us is
getting the hell out, escaping
to a
possibly better place and maybe making enough money
to dress, eat, feel, and be treated like card - carrying Homo sapiens, rather than our current subspecies, Graduentia studentus minimus.
The main question was whether or not you should count on your home
to deliver
good, solid gains over its lifetime (like you'd expect from an investment) or if it was simply a
place to live and
possibly get moderate gains, but not expect much more.

good place to surf with your favorite pro,
possibly get a deep one yourself, or just
to watch while enjoying a Pina Colada in the infinity pool.
If you
get good clear skies, this is also one of the
best places in New Zealand and
possibly the world
to star gaze.
Possibly one of the
best prisons in the country, the Iwahig Prison is a model penal colony where instead of
placing prisoners behind bars, they
get get to roam around in a vast area with fields, shelters, ponds and natural surroundings.
Money-wise I think I did
better on my own... Education-wise,
possibly I learned more from working with others... Although much of what I learned from others were negative lessons I could have avoided by not putting my work in jeopardy in the first
place... By jeopardy, I mean leaving valuable things in a rental space where the gallery owner failed
to pay rent - causing me
to learn about lawyers & bailiffs & landlords seizing contents
to try
to sell my work
to get their rent money... (you can't sell consignment work
to recoup rent money but that doesn't stop them from trying)...
