A short while back I wrote
a post about a few things Christians can learn from Pagans.
Not exact matches
Even my own
post running up to the IPO focused on all the bad
things that have dogged the site during its crazy climb over the past
few years, from users» privacy concerns to advertisers» doubts
about the site's usefulness.
Calling Facebook a «a sewer of misinformation,» Joshua Benton of Harvard's Nieman Lab wrote in a
post published Wednesday, «Our democracy has a lot of problems, but there are
few things that could impact it for the better more than Facebook starting to care — really care —
about the truthfulness of the news that its users share and take in.»
I plan to
post a new entry very soon but before doing so I wanted to say a
few things about the stock markets, which continue to be insane (but not unexpectedly so) and then repost a blog entry that is nearly five years old.
And I loved this
post because it married a
few things I'm passionate
about — motherhood, freedom, the sanctity of work, and family dynamics.
And rather than write a serious
post about why we should lighten up, I just decided to
post a
few things that I hope will make you laugh.

Posted on @Sarah My brother saw this movie when it came out and raved
about it; I didn't see it until a
few years later when I was osbsseed with DL's No Cure for Cancer album and was convinced it was the funniest
thing ever (I still might think that).
Having said that, I will show in the next
few posts that the process and standards of Canonization undermines nearly everything else we evangelical Christians believe
about the Bible, and so we must either change our view on some of these other
things (such an inspiration and inerrancy), or we must decide that the process of Canonization was wrong.
I keep of list of all the books I read in my 4000 books
post, but a book I finished yesterday struck a chord with me, and so I wanted to say a
few things about it.
As
things always tend to happen in synchronicity, I only included details

I am delighted to see you are back — although you have appeared on my reader it has taken me a while to visit as life has been pretty crazy with travel lately — but although you say that it is gone in a

few days ago I
posted a comment on here and noted how AFC always seem to lose ground and our way once the heat is on... how we lack the mental strength and character to deal with pressure of maintaining a lead once we are top of the table and how we ALWAYS crumble when it matter most... i also noted how we ALWAYS seem to regain our mojo soon as we are out of contention for every important competition, when we go on some amazing winning streak, just in time to snatch the 4th place trophy... as is the norm on here and many other AFC fans forum i got member jumped down my throat, talking
about negative fans, talking
about new players we have and how that problem was a
thing of the past....
Rather than write a lengthy
post that sums up all that's been going on in my life for the past
few years, I will simply start blogging again — perhaps flashing back here and there, but also just recounting life as it currently is and writing, as always,
about the
things that matter to me.
I will be working on a series of
posts that talk
about a
few things including, but not limited to:
