response above is that I wouldn't say he disgusts me — dealing with his approach is exasperating and the dogmatic ideology he promotes is certainly in the disgusting category, but I wouldn't characterize a person whom I only know through a few heated
posts as disgusting.
AND I do own every word I have
posted on any of these blogs, they have not been hateful, I have asked clarfying questions, to get a better grasp on your point of view, and mopst of time you are using innane insulting expletives

post is so full of historical inaccuracies, theological problems, and contradictions that it's hard to know where to start, but I want to make clear from the get - go that my
response to this
post should not be seen
as an attack on Tim Challies himself, (who I respect and like), but rather a
response to the general belief that God's presence is limited to the pages of Scripture and that all forms of contemplative or experiential spirituality should therefore be dismissed out of hand or regarded with suspicion.
If you are don't indirectly or directly elude to me, I won't bother you; however, when you do
as you did in your
post about me, expect a
response.
I fail to see how that
response has anything to do with the point that I was trying to make, and, seeing
as how you seem to have missed my
postings intention entirely, I will not bother reading too deeply into your thoughtful analysis of my commentary in return, which would no doubt be an engaging and intellectual adventure.
This
post was stirred up by my friend Heather of the EO's letter to her lesbian non-Christian friend, and her friend, Vikki's, gracious letter in return,

What I see
as sad are two competing but similar
responses in our
post modern culture - the absence of feeling and the bathing in feeling.
I wish that Jeremy would put a «email me when new comments are made» button on this site,
as I would have been much happier to read the clear, concise and compassionate

Just
as ridiculous is the
