I try to
post pictures of my outfits and link to stories I love and link to a few products I would love to have in my closet!
Originally, I had planned that Two Eyes in the Mirror would specalize in beauty reviews and such, but I started off by
posting pictures of my outfits before I ever got around to my first product review.
I've always just
posted pictures of my outfits on blog posts and decided to take it a step further by creating videos.
I always see
you post pictures of your outfits (which is great) but I've never seen you post a picture of the bag you carry all your equipment in.
I just ask Anna, because I usually do an outfit post but
I post the pictures of the outfit (before wearing it)?
So
I posted a picture of this outfit last week and I got a ton of questions to do a post, so I will keep it short and sweet.

picture of one
of my
outfits where I am wearing a Free People menswear top, was
posted on the Free People blog.
I've seen so many articles and
pictures of what to wear to coachella and you are LITERALLY the only one to
post outfits that can be purchased for less than $ 500 - $ 1000 (per day cough cough refinery29).
I purposely chose a simple and bright background here, even though this is actually untypical for my
posts... But, I wanted to put the
outfit into the focus
of these
pictures — without any distractions, without anything that draws off the attention
of these beautiful white lace shorts and the off - shoulder blouse.
And I also find it a bit strange when fashion bloggers
post pictures of summer
outfits in the depths
of winter!

I always look forward to writing these «
outfit of the year»
posts because it's the only time I really stop to look back at all
of the
pictures I've taken.
Though I'm not a huge fan
of mirror
pictures, I thought I could at least find a way to incorporate my weekly
outfit choices into my blog until I find a way to fit more conventional fashion
posts once again.
How many cute
outfits & shots was I * not * able to capture or
post because 1) no one was there to take a
picture of me and 2) I couldn't take my eyes off my kid: /
This is not the ultimate
outfit post even though the plan indeed was to shoot
outfit pictures... but we got distracted by the green
of the grass, and me jumping around — simply because it was fun.
If its an
outfit post, the cumulative time
of taking
pictures, editing them and writing the
post takes me about 2 hours.
I almost wasn't going to
post this just because
of how simple this
outfit is, but I love how these
pictures turned out!
Yes, there are several
pictures of the same
outfit in each
post, but they are different angles, focus on different accessories, maybe show a slightly different styling (i.e. half tucking a shirt vs. untucked, etc.) and are just beautiful to look at so they don't feel repetitive.
That's why you see two different locations with the same
outfit on this
post, since at the very end
of the shooting I saw nearby the Academy
of Fine Art (the first
picture).
I haven't been brave enough to take
outfit pictures, but fortunately I had taken some a couple
of weeks ago, so I will
post them.
I still have like four
outfits (including this one) that I took
pictures of before I cut my hair that I haven't
posted yet.
My favourite runway show
of the first day was Ong - Oaj Pairam and I'll be sharing the video
of the show I've made and
picture of my favourite
outfits in my next
post.
I've got another backlog
of outfit pictures that I'm working on
posting.
She was my model for some
pictures I have to take for a photography class so we took advantage to snap a couple
of photos for an
outfit post.
I normally try not to
post more than seven or eight
pictures of the same
outfit, because it doesn't really seem necessary.
I will
post some clickable
pictures of the skirts below the
outfit details!
This is just a quick
post to keep my blog flowing, because the weather has been an absolute funbag
of rain, windiness and cold lately and so I haven't been able to take
outfit pictures.
My blog birthday gift request from all
of you is for you to send me a
picture of yourself in an
outfit that somehow you were inspired by from this blog and I will
post them here on the one year birthday.
I know I promised
pictures of me not in front
of my fireplace (Sunday, I have some outdoor
outfit pictures to
post), but I wanted to show what I look like on a day when I am kicking back at home.

of weeks ago a blog
post on how to make monochrome
outfits more interesting, at the time I'd just shot these
pictures, and it made me realize I wasn't so lost when talking about minimal + monochrome looks
I am sick
of pictures of me always in the same spot in my
outfit posts.
As I mentioned yesterday, it's way different than my normal
posts, but I thought it would be really fun to share the shopping side and not just the end result
of pretty
outfit idea

of you that are new to this blog, basically what this type
of post entails is, me showing how to get dressed in different
outfits, shown step by step through
pictures sharing the different...
I slept 3 hours on Friday night because I was up editing
posts for the blog and so on Saturday, instead
of wearing ultra high heels and a skirt, I wore jeans, I felt awesome and comfortable all day, and in hindsight, these might not make for the best
outfit pictures, but the clothes made for a damn good day.»
I decided for this
post I would share some
of the
outfits that I couldn't get enough
pictures for a complete
post.
I did not plan to make an
outfit post, but I found some really cool walls and couldn't help but had to take some
pictures in front
of it!
