public domain, but difficult or impossible to obtain elsewhere, I thought I'd
post them here.
You
're posting this everywhere instead of responding to the thread so I'll ask again how you know these 4 facts that
are not
in the
public domain: 1.

As for another large group of people who have not paid to read eBooks, there
is probably a large percentage of them who have downloaded legally «free» copies... like ones you have written about
in some of your 4456
posts — not only from independent current authors, but from the huge quantity of
public domain books offered on large sites like ProjectGutenberg.org — many of which come pre-loaded on some eBook reading devices.
Any book it includes
is in the
public domain, therefore all these can
be downloaded free on the the books apps I mentioned on my other
posts.
Although there
are fewer free books
in the Kindle Store than there
were in December, it
is worth pointing out that the reduction
in free books has
been among duplicate
public domain titles rather than among the free promotional contemporary titles that populate Kindle Nation's daily Free Book Alert
posts.
As I type this
post this morning, there
are exactly 4,135 free books that
are «new» books and not considered classics or
in the
public domain.
