post won't include
outfit photos, but I wanted to share with you some items I'm loving for the 4th
of July!
So, though the craziness
of packing our entire house into 3 U-boxes and 2 vehicles has made it difficult to
post, and though lack
of a signal has made it difficult to keep in touch via Instagram and Facebook, I want to share some
photos from that day
of our trip, along with
outfit details,
of course!
I have been so busy in the last couple
of weeks, so
outfit posts have been the last thing on my mind (sorry fashionistas) but I found style inspiration from somewhere a few days ago and shot some
outfit photos.
The dress I wore in my last
post is my favorite
of the two
outfits I featured in the
photo shoot.
I love dressing up as much as the next person, but my Sundays tend to involve a mix
of brunch, blog
photo shoots,
post writing, running errands, and cooking for the week so I'm always looking for a cute
outfit that go from brunch to the coffee shop to the grocery store without missing a beat.

I started my blog a couple
of months ago and now I'm a bit more into the swing
of it I want to start looking at how to improve and what I want to achieve, so there's loads for me to think about here:) My favourite
posts of your are
outfits, blogging tips and career tips — particularly when you combine
outfit photos with writing about work / career!
My highlight was clearly tracking down some
of the best street art in LA (thanks to Studio DIY's «Wall Crawl»
post) to take
outfit photos in front
of it (I mean come on, who doesn't think that's fun:p) haha!
The flip side
of all this,
of course, is the argument that if you've gone to the trouble
of creating a website, taking a
photo of your
outfit, and then
posting it publicly, you must be implying that you consider this particular
outfit to be exemplary.
I am really satisfied with how the
photos of this
outfit turned out and I will definitely shoot some more
outfit posts here but maybe when it's not that cold haha.
While I was home in New England I had my sister take some
photos for me and this is the first
of a few
outfit posts I will be sharing from Christmas in MA!

Today is just a quick
post because I wanted to share a few
photos of this easy travel
outfit from our day spent in Alexandria Bay, New York.
My

I do this thing where I take
photos with my phone

I know this is a stretch
of a topic for an
outfit post, but I was looking at these
photos and thinking about how cotton dresses get wrinkly the minute you put them on, which,
of course, led me to think about my days as a professional ironing girl.
It has been a little while since I
posted on here, after a little break for many reasons I have decided to get back to it and start fresh with new content, a bit
of a personal twist to the blog, instead
of just adding
photos of various
outfits I would like to add...
I didn't get chance to
post my
outfit from the last challenge, but you can see a
photo of it in flat - lay form over on Jen's blog.
I was able to snag two
outfits worth
of photos this weekend and I'll be sure to
post them this week!
Even though I'm a «fashion blogger» and I
post photos of myself wearing cute
outfits everyday, the reality is I'm usually at home on the couch in my pj's or jeans and a t - shirt (hence my blog name — Jeans and a T - cup).

She was my model for some pictures I have to take for a photography class so we took advantage to snap a couple

I definitely have
outfits that don't photograph well, mostly ones that I love but in
photos look far too boring to bother
posting as sometimes the different textures
of my typically all - black ensembles get lost on the
photos xxxxxxx p.s. I would absolutely love to be a pen pal, I've never actually had one except a german pen pal when I was 14 and my german was limited to say the least!
He agreed to take some
