Over the past couple days on this thread, dozens and dozens of posters have made essentiaally the same post — often word - for - word identicle — that Obama is a Muslim and wears a ring inscribed in Arabic that says «There is no god but allah».
I was reading the thread here, and happened to notice as the other posters began to dismantle your arguments with their strongly supported assertions, you, as most often «believers» tend to do, began to get less and less specific, and... began to skate past their points, while bringing in more and more «fluffy» scriptural references.
And for a bit of nostalgia, anybody remember the thread on MDC a couple of years ago where the midwife covered the poster's vagina with warm towels to help her cope with her mother's c - section in some weird ritual in the woods?

In a recent project, Hunting for Pheasants, currently on view at Tufts University Art Gallery, Medford, MA, Tomaszewski created a series of fictional film posters based on famous assassinations and installed them within a space negotiated by threading through a knee - high maze.

I simply can't think of any sensible way to define SAW as «temperature minus AGW» that could be reconciled with either my poster or what I've said so far in this thread.

New poster bender has written some very thoughtful posts, including some comments on Gaspé which I I'd like to recover from deep in a political thread.
But ironically, that only reinforces the main theme that I post on: (1) political ideology is largely determinative in how people align themselves in the climate debate and, (2) being that most posters at Climate Etc. are on the «skeptical» side of the debate, this site is solid evidence that rudeness and closed - mindedness (as represented by accusations of trollhood and thread - jacking) is equally well - represented on both sides of the climate debate.
I heartily recommend it to any poster interested in the topic of this thread.
Posters Tim and Robert Brown's isothermal solution ignores these authors and / or have offered nothing of substance in this thread to disprove these published «PhD physicists on issues of fundamental thermodynamics».

Many of my fellow posters really do need to study physics, math and consult engineers about the many problems not being addressed in this thread at all.
I agree with you (and another poster IIRC on an earlier thread) that the energy cost of end use systems has to be accounted for in some manner, especially when comparing energy alternatives (i.e. liquid fuel or solid fuel, electricity and so on).
The veterans have seen and participated in all the arguments, and when they see an argument raised (such as Stephen Schneider) that they think has been argued to death, and where the poster appears to be opposed to their point of view, they tend to be quick to assume that the poster is aware of this fact and is just trying to be irritating, as if his post had been the last post of a thread in which all viewpoints on that topic had already been expressed and thoroughly explored.
I've run across three posters now who claim Steve is violating confidentiality, two of them on this thread where contrary evidence is clearly written in plain English.
The one another poster posted in this same thread is a perfect example.
