Clickbait Out of the News Feed A change to the Facebook algorithm now distinguishes between headlines that withhold information and headlines that exaggerate the story.

clickbait headlines will appear lower in News Feed.
First, we are now taking into account
clickbait at the individual
post level in addition to the domain and Page level, in order to more precisely reduce
clickbait headlines.
Using a built - in filter that functions like a SPAM filter, Facebook will identify which
posts are
clickbait, and which pages or domains they came from.
I think the pages will be in some serious need of password changes with the amount of
clickbait and SPAM
posts that have appeared on each of the pages.
I bet you can't find one out of every hundred
posts on here that can be defined as
clickbait.
If you mean just
post articles reposting the 1000's and 1000's of
clickbait rumors... I'd prefer not to read all them.
For example, a viral
post about adorable kittens may generate a lot of likes, but because people grow weary of this kind of
clickbait, it now has a lower relevance score.

clickbait - type words that cause it to be labeled as untrustworthy.
