This isn't a
post about how if you
formula feed you are a bad parent or if you breastfeed you are a saintly parent either.
If you want to go beyond that and consider whether or not the criticism was valid in an ethical or moral sense, I think you should consider that this woman made a public demonstration designed to draw attention and then
posted a photo of it on the internet along with her own opinions
about formula being poison (clearly a criticism of anyone who
feeds it to her baby).
Judgmental or «mom - shaming»
posts (example, you can share your story
about breastfeeding, but may not bash a mom who chooses to
formula feed)
The «debate» started when I made a
post about infant
formula and it's effect on gut flora (the topic at hand) and everyone who has ever
formula fed had something to say
about my non controversial statement.
She intended to help
formula feeding mothers by
posting a raving review
about GoButler, a service she used to obtain baby
formula for her 6 - month - old daughter.
