After an intensive one - year strategic planning process, the Center on the Developing Child focuses its efforts on three core areas of greatest
potential for impact: (1) reducing developmental barriers to
learning; (2) strengthening the early childhood foundations of
lifelong physical and mental health; and (3) enhancing the economic and social stability of the environment of relationships in which young children develop.
It will also harness the
potential of information and communication technologies to improve education delivery and content and encourage their further application
for income generation,
lifelong learning and exercising citizenship.
