just can't bring myself to stir a
pound of butter into my dessert especially when I could stir in a
pound of a vegetable instead.
So before you start wincing about the store bought ingredients in my version, I'll share
just how «un-healthful» the traditional family recipe is: 2
pounds diced potatoes, 2 cups sour cream, 3 cups
of cheddar cheese, 1 can cream
of chix soup, 1/2
pound of butter and some cornflakes.
But missing is the quarter -
pound of butter, cups
of cream and therefore, the idea that you can not make
just because you crave it.
It is the simplest
of recipes — using
just cheese (a
pound of it, which is a big block),
butter (a lot
of it) and a little flour.

I'll make a long story short and
just let you know that by not starving my body
of saturated fats like
butter and coconut oil I was able to loose 15
pounds of baby weight I couldn't get off.
