I love
pour over frosting, I do that with my bundt cakes and brownies, but I have been lazy and just warmed the frosting I buy from the store.
Put way more of the coconut on top of the frosting than is shown in the picture;
I poured it over the frosted then shook off the excess.

I admit that my favorite way to eat this caramel flavored spread is from a spoon, but it is also great when
poured over ice cream, used as a dip for fruit, spread on bread or even pancakes,
poured over popcorn, used as a flavoring in homemade ice cream or yogurt, as a
frosting, to sandwich two cookies together (especially in Alfajores), as a layer in Millionaire's Shortbread Bars, or in a Banoffee Pie (takes a pastry shell and fills it with Dulce de Leche, sliced bananas, and whipped cream).
Once you have
frosted it,
pour the rest of the reserved, unwhipped ganache
over the top so there is a layer of it
over the top but not the sides.
Then
pour the
frosting over the cooled cake.
If you are
pouring the glaze
over a chilled cake or cupcakes that is already
frosted, the glaze can be used soon after it is blended.
Meanwhile, to get the mottled look that I've gone for, use a hot offset spatula to smooth and slightly melt the chilled
frosting, then carefully
pour the still - warm ganache
over the edge of the chilled cake.
Pour batter evenly
over frosting mixture and bake in middle of oven 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean (
frosting on bottom will still be liquid).
I made this and added peppermint drops to make a mint
frosting, put that between two layers of chocolate cake (if you can do chickpeas / garbanzo beans I have a good chocolate cake recipe for you) then I made tour chocolate
frosting, let it cool a bit and
poured and spread
over the cake, into the fridge until the chocolate stiffened and After Eight cake was enjoyed by all.
Pour frosting over cake and spread with butter knife or cake spatula.

frosting over the base in the pan and swirl the top.

frosting is too liquid to hold a shape when you first

pour it
over desserts, and yes... you can also
frost brownies with ganache.
We
poured the warm
frosting over the warm cake and let it set.
Pour frosting over the cooked brownies and sprinkle with remaining hazelnuts and any other desired toppings (I sprinkled some rose petals)
Pour the
frosting over the hot cake as soon as it comes out of the oven.
So
pour over the unmolded cake, and use a spatula to ease the
frosting to the edges, if needed.
Pour 1/3 of the
frosting over brownie piece on serving plate.
Top with remaining brownie piece;
pour remaining
frosting over top.
