For storage, if you're making melt and
pour soap bars I would store them in some kind of clear plastic packaging at room temperature so the soap retains its moisture (although if you leave it out, it's not the end of the world).

I have also found a good solution in to melt it and
pour it into a silcone ice cube tray and then pop them out when they reset and use it like a
bar of
soap.
