powder you've only used one scoop of.
Now, this recipe would personally not keep me feeling full for very long as it is pretty high in carbs,
so I would add some plant -
based protein
powder to it.
So I usually double the baking
powder the wheat
based recipe calls for when cooking gluten free.
They've got vanilla protein
powder (pick a plant -
based one, of course) and cocoa
powder,
so your taste buds get the best of both worlds.
So, it sounds like
based on what you're saying, that a more accurate leavener level would be 1 1/2 teaspoons baking
powder for this recipe, or, 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.

Powders do not melt well in cold liquids
so for cinnamon, cocoa
powder, and salt, warm about 1/4 c of the milk in the microwave, mix in dry ingredients to dissolve and add to
base.
Nearly every single recipe that replaces baking
powder will do
so with baking soda as it is the
base within an acid -
base reaction that mimics the leavening you would get from baking
powder.

so I added spices including chili
powder, dry mustard, and allspice.
