Royal Icing can be made with
powdered sugar, egg whites and lemon juice or with meringue powder and water.

However, are you sure you have the correct ratio of
powdered sugar to milk for the icing?
My favorite frosting of all time is a plain, simple buttercream with butter,
powdered sugar, vanilla, almond extract, and a splash of heavy cream.
For the frosting 16 ounces cream cheese, softened 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 3 cups

powdered sugar, stabilizer and vanilla and whip at high speed until you get a very stable whipped cream.
For the strawberry jam icing: 1 cup

Go slowly with adding in the whipping cream and last cup of
powdered sugar until the desired consistency is reached.
Step 7: To make the glaze: in a small bowl put 1/2 to 3/4 cup of
powdered sugar, 2 tablespoon of blackberry puree or lemon juice.
Let slices thaw at room temperature, dust with
powdered sugar, sprinkle with almonds, and serve.
Blend dried coconut and
powdered sugar with a whisk in a medium - sized bowl until the mixture is uniform.
Gradually add
