But here's the thing: Flavored protein
powders taste like what they taste like.
And let's be real... more often than not protein
powder tastes like chalk.
Why did nobody ever mention that carob
powder tastes like chocolate and caramel?!

And no, they didn't invent a special
powder that makes apples and carrots
taste like cake.
For those who thought they were not chocolatey or didn't
like the
taste, be sure you are using either raw cocoa
powder or dutch process cocoa
powder, as American cocoa
powder (think Hershey's, etc.) will give them a bitter, almost burnt
taste

tastes exactly, and I mean exactly,
like a dark (cocoa
powder or coffee) beef texas or bean chili.
Just to let you know though, the
powders to sort of melt into the balls and that way you don't really get that powdery
taste in your mouth,
like the cinnamon challenge, lol!
With frozen sweet potatoes (previous roasted and chopped), milk of choice, protein
powder, cinnamon, and vanilla, this delicious energy smoothie
tastes like pie.
(I usually don't
like the consistency of coconut flour but adding the almond flour and cocoa
powder I can't even
taste the coconut flour) of course used the eggs and coconut oil also..
You can add hot water with with mushroom / chicken bouillon
powder if you'd
like, but we actually enjoyed this with just the hot water (or even without) and it still
tasted delicious!
What makes this the best thing I've ever made with protein
powder though is the fact that it
TASTES like an actual MCC.
If your protein
powder is sweet enough, omit using the sweetener all together (you can
taste the batter to adjust the sweetness to your
liking).
To mimic the texture and
taste of «normal» baked goods, you often need to use extra ingredients
like gums and
powders, or a mix of different flours.
By adding our cocoa
powder to a coconut flour waffle recipe, a waffle that
taste like chocolate cake is created!

powder, such as Hershey's Special Dark, for a deeper chocolate

I have yet to find a vegan protein

* Bring whole or reduced fat milk (Organic Valley is a good choice) just to a simmer / Stir in heaping tablespoons of chocolate cocoa

taste and sugar if using unsweetened chocolate — use more or less chocolate or sugar to
taste / Whisk together until dissolved over medium heat / Finally, stir in heavy cream, as much as you
like.
Now that your armed with that little tidbit of knowledge; it all makes sense why sometimes you'll

powder tastes and hate the way another one
tastes.

I know think it's got something to do with the raw cacao

I do not
like the
taste of fresh coriander so I stick with the
powder only.
Pour salt and chili
powder into separate small plates then dip the glass in salt and then chili
powder to coat (you can use as much as you'd
like to make it spicy for your
tastes).

tastes, I've read,

I added the vanilla and actually about 7ish Tablespoons of
powdered sugar, and it still
tasted like cream cheese.
