After the Wii U's tepid sales, you might be forgiven for thinking that Nintendo would back away from its quirkier tendencies, and
come up with a
console that competes more directly with Microsoft and Sony: a more conventional,
powerful system capable of taking on the PS4 and Xbox One on an equal footing.

come out with shoddy ports of the game for the older
consoles, then I hope that the most
powerful console out has a base large enough for them to make their money back or they're going to have a problem.

Come to think of it the xbox has the least innovation of the other
consoles on the market... even the scorpio is trying to boast power just because the ps4 was more
powerful than the xbox.
I figured the swirling rumours were wrong and Sony wouldn't

powerful console at the same time as a standard refresh.
We already know that the Nintendo Switch isn't nearly as
powerful as Sony and Microsoft's flagship

powerful than the Vita, and Wii U.... if it use the Tegra 2 chip it will be right next to ps4 1.8 teraflops or higher, but most likely if they use that, Nintendo might underclock it to increase battery power, but lets say they lock it to ps4 1.8 teraflops... every game for ps4 will be on the NX... and this is where the fear
comes from... the 3ds have many exclusives, only thing that hold it back was graphics, now that wont be the issue in the NX... look how they announce Dragon quest 11 for NX already... Square Enix is thinking about money... and which
console sold most of their games... the 3ds... so do not be surprised every big game from Square Enix and other Japanese developers
come to the NX... and if they are anything like CAPCOM they will rather save money and make their game for one
console aka the NX like they do with Monster Hunter... me personally I can not wait to see all my favorite games on the 3ds in better graphics... i am a RPG lover and the 3ds have some classics that I love... only thing Nintendo have to worry about is how Western and European side of the world will feel about the new handheld... Japan will love it, handheld sell the most, so it wont take long for NX to pass ps4 sales... but if they can get the attention of western and european... then Sony have reasons to worry and their fans

coming benefits the Pro because more 3rd party devs will make more use of the added power on both
consoles.
Lets say a more
powerful PlayStation 5
comes out instead of an evolutionary
console, it means that gamers are going to expect another ramp up in production costs to take advantage of the new hardware features, publishers will need to wait for the install base to grow on PS5 and also risk everything on next generation development.
