on, I have had debates with
Atheist but I have also had to pretty much break up potential fights between two
persons of Faith over an interpretation of a scripture.

atheist, and one of the things I hated about religion is that the Christians are always trying to force their absurd beliefs off
on other
people now there is an organized group of
atheists trying to do the same thing with a non-religion.
But in the real world, I think
atheists and
people of varying faiths probably work together
on various things for the good of mankind — often not really knowing fully about each others» beliefs, yet still accomplishing good things together.
We have gay
people, Democrats, Republicans,
atheists, Muslims, ans all manner of
people in our pews
on Sunday morning.

people on this earth are usually
atheist?
I think the percentage of
atheists versus believers is higher than the number you provide, and I also think the important point (perhaps implied by tallulah) is that per
person, there is more anger
on the side of the theists than the nonbelievers.
Often the assumption, actually or perceieved, is that
people of faith are either dumb, in psuedo - intential denial, or just
on the road that will eventually lead to unbelief (usually only because many
atheists are assuming others will «progress» only along the same path they did).
Atheists: I know many there are many
people that practice religion just by fanaticism, I've seen many
people in my opinion stupid (excuse the word) praying to saints hopping to solve their problems by repeating pre-made sentences over and over, but there are others different, I don't think Religion and Science need to be opposites, I believe in God, I'm Catholic and I have many reasons to believe in him, I don't think however that we should pray instead of looking for the cause and applying a solution,
Atheists think they are smart because they focus

atheists explain the obvious benefit, both economically, educationally, socially, and spiritually, that America receives when its

person based
on his or her actions, so a kind Christian would be a «better»
