Still, I hate to think what the FX would look like in a remake; one of the best things about the original is the make - up and
practical special effects by Rick Baker (he won the first ever Academy Award for Best Makeup).
In fact, the only things I enjoyed were the 80s synthtastic score and
the practical special effects.
