Transfering miles to your

I would much rather earn EQD at an accelerated rate by booking flights through American's
partner airlines than spend $ 25,000 on a credit card whose currency I'd

partner like American should also be available to British Airways — and those with more American

Since transfers are usually only allowed to specific
partner brands, check the issuer's website to ensure your credit card rewards points can be transferred to your
preferred airline or hotel loyalty program.
Overall, Citi has more options when it comes to
airline partners than Chase but I much
prefer the options that Chase has to offer, especially because there are great ways to supplement those point transfers with solid Chase co-branded cards.
I also like using Avios because American is my
preferred airline and I can still get my elite status benefits (like priority boarding and better seat selection) on a
partner award ticket.
You might not always be able to get points in your
preferred frequent flier program, but it may be possible to make a redemption through a
partner, such as using Singapore's KrisFlyer miles to travel on United
Airlines.
Maybe because they'd rather you switch your dates to fly with their
airline than keep your
preferred itinerary and fly with a
partner?

I actually
prefer to earn Avios points if I want to book an award on Alaska
Airlines, though Alaska's miles are pretty good for
partners like Cathay Pacific.
Transferring points to
airline and hotel
partners is usually my
preferred way of using UR, but if there aren't good options with their transfer
partners, you can use your points to book through the Chase Ultimate Rewards booking portal.
If you
prefer to travel with loyalty programs outside of the named
partners, the Chase Sapphire Preferred ® Card may feel limiting to you even though you can use your points to book with any
airline — you just can't transfer points to any
airline and take advantage of possibly lower redemption rates.
Up until now only Apple's
preferred partners (the likes of Twitter and American
Airlines) have been allowed to push their wares through the App Store approval process, but now anyone can get involved, with Apple inviting submissions from the entire developer community.
