A
"prepared crust" refers to a ready-made or pre-made crust that is already made and ready to be used in a recipe, such as a pie, tart, or pizza. It saves time and effort as it eliminates the need to make the crust from scratch.

There are several versions of this low - carb crust, however, I like this recipe and the website gives step by step instructions which makes it much easier
when preparing the crust for the first time.
Prepare crust by pulsing dates, walnuts, and salt in a food processor until a sticky mass forms.
Brush prepared crust with some olive oil and top with onion / broccoli rabe mixture, mozzarella, Parmesan, and black olives, and sprinkle with crushed red pepper (to taste).
