She'll be doing a short
presentation about Mycelia for music which is her project where she and a number
of other creatives are investigating the possibilities around digital wallets and you know,
artisted earning and what has happened already in the music industry.
In a day full
of presentations to
other developers, I was lucky to sit down with Technical
Artist Zak Parrish, Lead Programmer James Golding, and Senior Designer
of the UT project Jim Brown, to find out more about one
of the industry's leading development tools.
The P.S. 1
presentation also includes the film The Initiation Ritual
of the 360 Degrees (2002) and
other works from the
artist's «Oist» series.
Following the
presentations of Shelly Silver (2015), Akram Zaatari (2016), and Vincent Dieutre (2017), this year's 40th edition will be devoted to Tacita Dean's 16 mm and 35 mm films, and will feature screenings
of The Uncles (2004), Kodak (2006), Craneway Event (2009), Event for a Stage (2015), among
others, as well as some
of the
artist's short films, including the 35 mm premiere
of His Picture in Little (2017) and Providence (2017).

others — whose practices have inspired her own.

Exhibitions at West 19th Street, New York, and 24 Grafton Street, London, balance the program's historical component with
presentations of recent painting, photography, sculpture, and video, among
other mediums, by boundary - pushing contemporary
artists like Kerry James Marshall, Oscar Murillo, Diana Thater, Wolfgang Tillmans, and Jordan Wolfson.
Other Stand Prizes awarded elsewhere across the fair include Portugal's Nuno Centeno, exhibiting via the subsidised Focus platform for younger galleries, and Canada's Cooper Cole, in Frame (a curated section for emerging talents) for their solo
presentation of Tau Lewis - who, at 23, is perhaps the youngest
artist exhibiting in the fair.
The Prize, established in 1984, is awarded to a British
artist under fifty for an outstanding exhibition or
other presentation of their work in the twelve months preceding 4 April 2011 and, for the first time ever, the exhibition will this year be held outside
of a Tate venue.
In addition to an internationally oriented program
of exhibitions and
presentations of artists from Berlin and
other German cities, KW regularly cooperates with various partners, including the Venice Biennale (Club Berlin, 1995) and documenta X (Hybrid Workspace, 1997).
It takes place alongside two
other major UK
presentations of Himid's work: Invisible Strategies, a solo exhibition at Modern Art Oxford and The Place is Here, a group show at Nottingham Contemporary which traces conversations between black

Elapsing over two days, each
presentation highlights a different field
of inquiry and includes

On view through January 17, 2016 and curated by Alex Gartenfeld, the exhibition includes the first complete
presentation of photographs from the
artist's ongoing series Black Box Collision A, as well as 12 posters from Ebner's collaborative project with David Reinfurt, A HUDSON YARD; and the title video, A PUBLIC CHARACTER, edited by Erika Vogt and scored by Alex Waterman, among
other highlights.
The four shortlisted
artists for the # 25,000 prize, which is given for an «outstanding exhibition or
other presentation of their work», are Hurvin Anderson, Andrea Büttner, Lubaina Himid and Rosalind Nashashibi.
There were also significant examples
of work by well - known
artists such as Mike Kelley's Compound Eye (1982 - 3) at Franklin Parrasch, and
other highlights for us included the solo
presentation of Jamie Davidovich at Henrique Faria, Kiki Kogelnik at Simone Subal, Etienne Martin at Galerie Bernard Bouche, and the combination
of works from across different time periods at Taka Ishii.»
A shallow
presentation of 80s all - stars, from a Jeff Koons equilibrium tank to a Christopher Wool circuit
of squiggles, gives onto an offensive «minorities room» — in which David Hammons, Glenn Ligon, Mark Bradford, and
other African American
artists, plus the Cuban - born Félix González - Torres, are shunted together in a half - hearted and market - approved look at identity and opposition.
On view in ICA Miami's second floor galleries through January 16, 2016, the exhibition includes the first comprehensive
presentation of photographs from the
artist's ongoing series Black Box Collision A, which since 2012 has seen the

For this edition, Stephen Friedman Gallery is delighted to show two separate
presentations: an exhibition
of work by British painter Ged Quinn and a specially curated selection
of artists including Melvin Edwards, Manuel Espinosa, Andreas Eriksson and Wayne Gonzales, amongst
others.
The prize, which includes an award
of # 25,000 ($ 38,000 USD) is awarded to a British
artist under the age
of 50 for an outstanding exhibition or
other presentation of their work in the preceding year.
Following the
presentation, Nancy Princenthal and Arezoo Moseni converse about the challenges facing a biographer
of such an elusive
artist and
other topics related to the book and Agnes Martin's life and work.
As part
of our 25th anniversary programming, we have invited curators,
artists, critics, and
others to select a key exhibition from The Power Plant's history and deliver a
presentation about it inside the Dissenting Histories gallery space.
Other notable solo
presentations include a selection
of Tony Smith's sculptural maquettes, presented by Pace Gallery (New York, London, Palo Alto, Beijing, Hong Kong, Paris, Seoul), which highlight the
artist's modular system
of formal and spatial organization.
The
presentation is followed by a conversation with Bourgeois's longtime friend Jerry Gorovoy about the challenges and surprises
of collaborating with a complex
artist as well as Alex Van Gelder's
other projects.
