When
you press the volume rocker, the default action is to change the ringer volume.
Oh, and if you want to use the camera, simply hold the phone up in a camera position and
press the volume rocker like a shutter button while it's off; the camera app will open right up.
The right side also has the power button and hard - to -
press volume rocker.
It took a while for me to get used to the positioning of the power button as I kept
pressing the volume rockers instead.
Better yet there's a super easy way to toggle between the included movie, music and game presets by simply
pressing the volume rocker to bring up the volumes panel, followed by choosing the preset of choice.
Not exact matches
Both the
volume rocker and the power button also have good response and aren't too easy or too difficult to
press, and they sit almost flush with the frame so they don't protrude out too much, just enough to make them noticeable by touch.
The app itself is well designed, responsive and default settings allow you take a snap by
pressing either of the
volume rocker buttons.
Also, the
volume rocker and power on / off button are directly opposite each other so it's hard to
press one without accidentally
pressing the other.
This keeps the
volume rocker, or any other button for that matter, from being unnecessarily
pressed since none are located on the left side.
The device will ask you to confirm if you want to unlock the bootloader, and using the
volume rocker move the option to «Yes» and
press the power button to select the option.

On the left of the phone is the power button, and the downside of it being placed there is that it's easy to accidentally hit the
volume rocker with your thumb while you
press the power button with your pointer.
Taking a look around the device, the power button and
volume rocker are on the right and left sides respectively, and the buttons feel very tactile and are easy to
press.
The
volume rocker and power button are easy to locate and
press, and the power button has a nice texture to it so you can tell which button is which.
Oh and lest I forget, the power button and the
volume rocker are pretty tactile and offer a satisfying click sound when
pressed.
But I wish it was a bit more customizable — I'd like to option to invert the slider order, for example — and I don't like that OnePlus recently removed the ability to switch the OnePlus 5T to Vibrate mode by repeatedly
pressing the «down» key on the
volume rocker.
Galaxy S8 and Note 8 phones include a button just below the
volume rocker that summons Bixby when
pressed.
The only difference here is that Samsung has smartly moved the
volume rocker and power buttons further down toward the middle of the device, to make them easier to
press when you're holding the Mega with one hand.
The camera button protrudes a bit more than the
volume rocker (left side) but is otherwise easy to use for both activating the camera application (
press and hold for a few seconds) and taking shots.
With the
Rocker Locker service enabled, any time you
press your device's
volume buttons, you'll be able to adjust media
volume without waiting on a song or video to start playing.

volume rocker have been moved to the back, and while they're easier to find and
press than they were on the old Fire HD, I'm not sure it's the best solution.
