Imagine a Penn and Teller show but with a much
prettier main act.

acting is slightly below average but you can live with it, the
main claim to fame here is an awesome monster battle between US soldiers, dragons and all manner of warriors with weird weapons, including a
pretty good «Star Wars» style Apache choppers vs flying dragons through a skyscraper trenches section, probably the best part.

acting was okay for the most part (Marsden and Perabo were
pretty good but Glenn and Thornton gave two of the most wooden performances I've seen recently), the attacks by the bear were not that well made but it could've been worse but, ultimately, the movie is entertaining and in the end you really care for the 3
main characters (Perabo, Marsden, Jane).

Yes, the
acting is still
pretty bad (though not nearly as bad as the first one) but I think the
main reason why I like it is because of the Taylor Lautner dude.
At its most basic level Anachrony is a worker - placement game, meaning you'll be deploying workers from your colony to the capital city on the
main board in order to do various things like build new structures for your colony, gather water which
acts as a currency of sorts, conduct research into super projects, trade with nomads and go mining for four types of raw materials needed to do
pretty much everything.
From the game's second
act that invariably lands Teriel on Peh, players can
pretty much pickpocket anyone, steal anything which isn't bolted down, travel wherever they please and complete side quests at their own pace and without touching the
main storyline missions.
The
main quest dialogue is voice
acted, and done
pretty well for the most part.
