Nothing against The Commoner, but it was
a pretty basic breakfast that we felt was overpriced.

The
basic idea was
pretty clear to me from the beginning; I wanted a muffin that we could enjoy for
breakfast without feeling that we actually were eating dessert in the morning (which I am
pretty certain most people that eat muffins for
breakfast feel).
Failing a hospitality exchange, consider staying in a monastery for accommodation which is a little further off the beaten path — this kind of accommodation is usually
pretty basic with just a bed and a desk, and bread and butter for
breakfast, though cost wise will start from around $ 50 per person for private accommodation or around half that for a dorm.
They did have some large cinnamon rolls, but besides that it was
pretty basic hotel buffet
breakfast like you would find at a low end chain.
It's
pretty much what you'd expect for a free
breakfast from a
basic Hyatt: very mediocre.
I would love some of their
basic bowls & serving dishes or a
pretty tray for serving
breakfasts in bed!
