Valkyria Chronicles series you better skip this game as it has nothing in common with the
previous titles.
When Sega first unveiled the next game to carry the
Valkyria moniker, Valkria Revolution, quite a few of the fans of the
previous Chronicles series weren't too happy.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 is an upcoming tactical RPG that continues to follow the same style of strategy gameplay that the
previous installments are known for.
However, with the upcoming Japanese release of
Valkyria Chronicles: Azure Revolution poised to bring the series back to consoles after a pair of sequels on the PSP, the timing couldn't be better for SEGA to introduce new players to this hidden gem from the
previous console generation.
The gameplay of
Valkyria Revolution departs from the strategy - RPG type of gameplay of the
previous games, featuring more active - based combat with tactical options for your allies.
Instead,
Valkyria Revolution is an action - RPG which actually has very little in common with the
previous games.
Most of the items in this list are about games continuing the decisions made in the
previous game, but
Valkyria Chronicles 3 is different.
In
Valkyria Revolution, the cell shading look is replaced with a more fluid 3D style, while retaining the paint strokes in the background from
previous games.
