Although the gameplay was significantly greater than the
previous game, it did come with some definite baggage
in the form of
bugs and technical glitches.
This update fixes the critical
bug that reversed XInput controller Y - axes and rendered many
game controllers nearly useless
in the
previous Windows version.
The sound is relatively solid, although the lack of true 3D audio and the presence of the channel crossover
bug that appeared
in previous versions of the
game serve to knock its score down a few notches.
The
bug had found its way into Battlefront
in the
game's
previous update, but has since been removed by DICE and EA.
