pricing effort), and will continue to work with stakeholders and the communities to transform Amsterdam Avenue, one of the most dangerous streets in New York City, into a complete street.
But while the Schwartz
plan has drawn praise from both transit advocates and some
previous congestion pricing opponents, the reactions from the leaders whose positions really matter have ranged from timidity to revulsion.
