I'm looking to use an
ereader primarily as text editor going forward (allows distraction - free outdoor work etc.) and currently I'm looking at the Icarus Illumina XL HD / Pro or the Onyx Boox N96.
This is
eReader is
primarily available in China, but international users can buy them from eBay or 3rd party websites such
as Banggood.com, dhgate.com and aliexpress.com for around $ 130 or $ 115.
Kobo is a lesser - known competitor in the
eReader market,
primarily sold in Borders stores and serving
as an alternative to the NOOK.
While the obvious connection to the other Kindles exists, this is not
primarily intended to serve
as an
eReading device.
I've talked here before about how the Kindle deserves its place
as the top selling
eReader primarily because nobody else has come close to designing a store that gives customers so much of what they want.
