It's one of the newer
pieces in the medical center's massive modern and contemporary art
collection, which dates to 1976 and includes more than 4,000 original paintings, sculptures, new - media installations and limited - edition
prints by the likes of Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Richard Diebenkorn, Sam Francis, Claes Oldenburg, Willem de Kooning, Raymond Pettibon and Pablo Picasso — not to mention 61 additional Stella works.
Starting
in the 1990s with just a few
pieces, the New Hall Art
Collection at Murray Edwards College at Cambridge now has over 450 paintings,
prints and sculpture, making it the second largest
collection of art by women

Highlights include a circa - 1800 barn that was adaptively repurposed into a charming residence, the Eliphalet Sturges / George Hand Wright house, which was originally built
