Significant factors like: maternal morbidity, family history,
prior birth trauma, socio - economic status, mental health history, expectations of childbirth, adjustment to the role of parent, and many more aspects can influence the way in which a woman and her family integrate and heal from a traumatic birth.
That's because my fear is based on
prior birth trauma, the results of which my child and I will carry with us for the rest of our lives.
