Opportunity Grants programs whereby states could apply for funding for scholarships to
private schools for low income students who attend schools identified as needing improvement under ESSA; school districts participating in the ESSA - authorized weighted student funding pilot could use funds to expand open enrollment systems

grants will support the Administration's commitment to fixing our nation's crumbling infrastructure by creating
opportunities for all levels of government and the
private sector to fund infrastructure, using innovative approaches to improve the necessary processes for building significant projects, and increasing accountability for the projects that are built.
These alternatives include Pell
Grants, Federal Supplemental Education
Opportunity Grants, Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education
Grants, Iraq and Afghanistan Service
Grants, work - study programs, and
private student loans.
This financial aid package may include a mixture of federal and
