I hope for a more KZ2 single player but will
probably focus on multiplayer.

Had DICE perhaps released this solely as a
multiplayer game,
focusing all their efforts
on crafting the very experience they could, then there's a very good chance that you would have seen a 5/5 adorning the bottom of this page,
probably along with a hand - written note confessing my undying love for Battlefield 4, regardless of how similiar it is to Battlefield 3.
Add to that the confusing nature of what Basement Crawl is really trying to be, the lack of anything to capture interest past playing a few matches, and the
multiplayer - only
focus which will create limitations when few people are online playing, and you have a game that
probably isn't worth the space
on your hard drive.
No
multiplayer This one is
probably more controversial, but I think they should
focus on the singleplayer and drop the
multiplayer.
Saying that, now that I have the choice, I'll
probably buy any future releases
on the 360 that are single player only (or are single player
focussed with a token
multiplayer mode thrown in) and are shown to run better
on the 360.
Needless to say, in this sniper -
focused game, enjoyment of the competitive
multiplayer probably depends
on one's own tolerance for being suddenly and repeatedly shot dead without warning, although of course there's also plenty of schadenfreude to be had if you inflict this fate
on an opponent first.
The trailer
focused on the
multiplayer aspect of the game through a cinematic heavy playthrough, so it looks great but
probably doesn't give us anything to really sink our teeth into.
This different direction being a new
focus on cooperative
multiplayer for up to four players, although it's exclusively through ad - hoc which
probably went down much better in Japan than it will here in the west.
