Ever since human beings first began climbing the world's tallest mountains, they have struggled with a basic
problem:
altitude sickness, caused by lower air pressures which affect the ability
of our bodies to take up oxygen.
The three things I worry about are the

of altitude sickness), the bugs (I've heard that 100 % Deet won't stop them) and the general consensus that most people suffer stomach issues (it's very rare that I have stomach
problems when I travel but hiking with digestive troubles sounds like a nightmare).
In fact, they are so powerful that

problem of over-alkalinization.
