The crisis of the young has manifested itself ominously in the growing
problem of bullying in the schools and, at its most extreme, in the murder of children by children, whether in British Columbia or New York, Quebec or Colorado.
This document addresses
the problem of bullying in schools and defines bullying, discusses the seriousness of this behavior and the effectiveness of a comprehensive approach, and presents strategies for teachers, students, and parents to use when dealing with bullying situations.

problems related to gangs or drugs and alcohol, and so on.

in the past year, I conducted my own preliminary studies with several classes with serious
bullying problems in different parts
of the country.
