I just adore the pleats, which fell better on me than on
the product shot dress form.
As expected, the «waistline» sat much higher on me than the online
product shot dress form.
Not exact matches

dress last week after I got done
shooting with the all things pretty Pittsburgh based company, Sweet Water Decor for their new Fall and Holiday
products!

Wow, that last
dress is so much cuter on you than it looks in the
product shot.
I was surprised how different the
dress looks on me versus the model
shot on the
product page.
Unfortunately that plan was
shot to hell once I started reading the online
product reviews which report that this is less a
dress and more a top.
Whilst their
products may not be for a shrinking violet, this
shoot by stylist (and
dress designer) Zoe Lem shows just how you can make plastic jewellery work for your big day, and surprisingly it works so well!
I am happy to say that this
dress is considerably longer in real life than how it looks in the
product shots.
I have no idea why this
dress looks knee - length in the
product and model
shots.
The online
product shot does a better job than my fitting room photos of illustrating the sheen this
dress has.
My iPhone was having trouble capturing the color of this
dress — coral is an accurate description of the pink, which is slightly brighter in real life than in the
product shot.
Even the
dress form in the
product shot seems to have visible tan lines where the straps should go.
I looked at the
dress online... how sad does the
product shot look?
(Unlike the
product shot, which makes the
dress look as though it has a full bodice with waist - cincher.)
I was hoping for the
dress to look similar to the model
shot shown at the top of this post but instead it looked closer to the
product shot on the
dress form.
