of professional school nursing of school nurses, we are pleased to announce the availability of The National Certification Awards.
The mission of WASN is to support and advance the practice of
professional school nurses in Wisconsin in order to enhance the health, safety, and educational success of students.
The school nurse endorsement requires school nurses to possess a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution, be licensed as a
registered professional school nurse in Illinois pursuant to the Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing Act, 225 ILCS 65 (1998), complete an Illinois approved program for the preparation of school nurses, and successfully complete the required certification examinations.

MASHN is
a professional school nurse organization dedicated to promoting the role of school nurses in contributing to the health and educational success of students.

professional school nurses.
