In 2007, the FIRST 5 of Santa Clara County Commission joined forces with the Mexican American Community Services Agency to develop the Fatherhood / Male Collaborative, which seeks to develop

including parenting workshops, job training, and education, and
child visitation and
child support assistance.69 FIRST 5 of San Mateo County has implemented a Dad's Workgroup, which consists of representatives from across state and county agencies to determine fatherhood engagement strategies
for at - risk fathers, as well as a «Daddy's Tool Bag» DVD that aims to provide fathers with the support and confidence to develop secure attachment with their
young children.70
