The Office for Civil Rights (OCR) OCR enforces several
Federal civil rights laws that
prohibit discrimination in programs or activities that receive
Federal financial assistance from the Department of Education.
The District assures OCR that it will take the following actions to comply with the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. 2000d (Title VI), and its implementing regulation, 34 C.F.R. Part 100, which
