I have been making a few changes around here, as I mentioned in a this post I was not really happy with how some parts of our home were looking so in between all my projects and furniture makeovers I have been rearranging items and rethinking spaces which is where this post came from.

Sitting in my office (formerly dining room) to the front of my very open floorplan home just off the open foyer, with a million stacks of papers piled on every available surface, desperately trying to figure out where to store anything, how to organize multiple work projects, how to create enough work surface, how to keep 3 cats happy OFF the desk, and how to feel comfortable allowing anyone to enter my house without a 24 - hour notice.

While summer is not over yet, I'm pretty happy with the amount of things we were able to cross off our home project list this summer — and I'm still confident that we can squeeze a few more in before Labor Day!

Up until now, my creative happy place has always been in my heart, mind, and home working on a project surrounded by the people I love most.

Here is where I made my mistake: I was planning to add «farmers» with paint in a rustic distressed print in front of MARKET, but unfortunately once I completed this step I wasn't happy with the results... and to confirm my decision, Brent came home from work and looked up and said «Oh, that doesn't look very good», he is usually one to not comment much on my projects!

As I look back on some of my favorite diy projects from 2015, I'm happy to see that many of the pieces completed before the move transitioned quite well into our home albeit with a new function in several cases.
