books in).
I parted company with HarperCollins after my last

promotion — which I'm finding far easier to do now that I'm proud of the product I'm

On the same day as my Spirit Filled Kindle ad, I received a tweet from a new
book promoting service, BookScream, to let me know they had picked my
book for a free
promotion.
As befits a smaller kindle
promotions group, their pricing is very straight forward: $ 15 to
promote your Amazon Kindle or Nook novel, and an additional $ 6 if you want your
book to be shared
on the EbookSoda Twitter page.
Some of them
promote free
books only, some when it's
on sale, and some will
promote when you have a new release, so you should have no trouble finding a
promotions group that matches your chosen price point, format, as well as your budget and your goals for ebook marketing.
Prices for
promotion vary based
on the price of the
book you're
promoting as well as whether you want it to be an «Exclusive» posting, meaning that your
book will be in it's own post, rather than having to share a post with other people's
books.
It is far easier for a new author to
promote a
book within Amazon Select than when a unit is
on all sales venues, because the author must revisit all sales channels to price a unit for a discount in a planned
promotion.
At the moment, their service is ONLY if your
book is free, so if you're planning
on running a 99c
promotion, then you'll need to
promote through one of the other
book marketing websites listed.
Now, the focal point of this self - publishing course is going to be how to build an author platform and that is a rather broad subject, so we're going to be breaking it down into eight different chapters where you can expect to learn how to connect with your readers, how to find your
book's audience, how to
promote your
book, information
on self - publishing, and even ebook
promotion.
