There's a motorsport - derived Drexler limited - slipdiff operating on the front axle, and unlike its hot hatch rivals, the Astra's is a proper mechanical plate differential, rather than an electronic item.
It could maybe do with a properlimited - slip differential, as opposed to an open diff with a torque vectoring by braking system trying to imitate the former.
