It is also true if the Bayesians have not actually solved any problems in applied math; or if the claimed
solution creates problems in higher dimensional
spaces; of if the
proposed solution can not in principle be tested against experimental data; or if the
proposed solution can not be computed without simplifying assumptions that introduce new sources of inaccuracy.
This is bound to ruffle a few feathers, so here are Professor Jacobson's comments on how he came to this conclusions: Jacobson Considered a Wide Range of Environmental Impacts Jacobson says he has conducted to first quantitative, scientific evaluation of the
proposed, major, energy - related
solutions by assessing not only their potential for delivering energy for electricity and vehicles, but also their impacts on global warming, human health, energy security, water supply,
space requirements, wildlife, water pollution, reliability and sustainability.

The redoubtable Dave Winer had a piece on his Scripting News blog yesterday
proposing a
solution that, as best as I could understand it, involved mapping a subdomain for Slaw, for instance, to the URL shortener site and then sharing a
space where the data is stored — such as on Amazon S3, the effect being that even if the shortening service goes down, the shortened URLs still work.
A design thinking workshop follows, with participants breaking into small groups led by a design thinking facilitator to tackle these issues, then at the close of the day presenting
proposed solutions to some aspect of the challenges women face in breaking into the legal technology
space.
