Traditionally made with bacon or pancetta, this recipe is simplified by substituting
prosciutto so you can have this flavorful dish on the table in under 20 minutes.
I didn't have
prosciutto so I used bacon.

Prosciutto and melon is such a summer classic (
so is Caprese, for that matter!).
The chicken came out
so moist and tender and the
prosciutto add a nice bit of saltiness to the chicken.
I followed the recipe to a «T», but skimped on the onion by about a 1/4 cup (the remnant hunk I had in the fridge only went

If the asparagus is thicker, you may use one for each

So I wrote you two comments last night on the peach and
prosciutto pizza recipe.
This was just esthetics though as they tasted delicious - I toasted one with cheese and a slice of
prosciutto for my lunch and it was not only yummy but kept me full all afternoon - I plan to make another batch today and put them in the freezer
so they are always available:)

so excited to share this bowl of Shrimp and
Prosciutto Pasta For One with you.
I used naan when I made Tomato, Mozzarella & Arugula Naan Pizza and Paneer Naan Pizza (both excellent pizzas
so check them out) and that's exactly what I used with this peach
prosciutto ricotta arugula pizza.
However I did use
prosciutto instead of pancetta
so maybe that added to the saltiness.
Once the potatoes are browned, remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the creamy goat cheese (
so good when it gets a little warm and melty from the heat of the hash), cooked
prosciutto and shallots, and parsley.
Throw together a fruit salad and serve up an endless stream of pancakes (these buckwheat blender ones are always a hit), a crustless quiche or a healthy potato hash, like this one with
prosciutto and goat cheese (
so good!).
(Most people don't know that «mortadella» is just the Italian word for «bologna,»
so they will think it's as fancy as
prosciutto even though mortadella costs the same as sliced turkey.)
If using
prosciutto and / or mortadella, drape slices
so that the meat folds over itself to make a pleated mound down the length of the roll (about 4 slices total).

so many high - cost items: artichokes ($ 1.15 per salad), organic chicken ($ 1.13), frisee ($ 1.08), and bougy touches like a quail egg ($ 0.66) and
prosciutto speck ($ 0.44).
So, instead of those
prosciutto - wrapped sea scallops with romesco, summer bean salad and basil - sherry vinaigrette, enjoy a turkey, cheddar and bacon flatbread sandwich tonight, and rest easy knowing that you've saved yourself some cash — and are that much less likely to have eaten a roach.
The meat: Cured meats like salami,
prosciutto or capocollo can be a great option for the ploughman's lunch, but
so can leftover chicken or roast beef.
