of that would be bursting with vitamins, fibres, and

out there to turn vegetarian, but rather, debunk the myth you can not get adequate amounts
of protein from a
plant - based diet.

Check this
out: For 3 tablespoons
of plain peanut powder you're only getting 2 grams
of fat but also 8 grams
of plant - based
protein plus iron, B vitamins, magnesium, and some fiber too.
Possibly one
of the most prevalent and misguided pieces
of advice
out there is the myth
of the incomplete
plant proteins.
Not everything on this list are necessarily the highest
protein plant products per 100 grams, but they will work
out to be the highest considering they are going to be the main components that will add bulk to your meals, plus you will be eating a lot more
of them by weight.
If your hair feels, thin and lifeless, or if falls
out easily and grows slowly, then upping the amount
of plant based
protein from these 3 sources will definitely help.
Another new study, this one
out of Belgium, concluded that animal
protein intake was associated with bigger body mass index and waistline, whereas
plant protein intake was associated with a smaller BMI and slimmer waist — indicating that the intakes
of plant protein could offer a potential protective effect against overweight and obesity.
But I try to eat a variety
of whole food without added sugars and oils, so a
plant based diet with significant refined oils and sugar that shove
protein containing whole foods
out of the diet could very well could get a person into trouble with respect to
protein and perhaps lysine.
Seems to me there's a lot more good than bad in living by the
plant based, non processed food diet as long as
protein deficiency is kept
out of the equation.
