While most
protein powders taste like pulverized chalk, Unjury has been heralded by many users for its supreme taste.
Part of the reason I no longer recommend Optimum Nutrition products is that their «100 % Natural» product is not 100 % natural in my book anymore.After trying pure protein powders (no sweeteners, flavors, or anything else added), a universal truth has developed -
all protein powders taste pretty bad in their natural state but each has its own quirks.
Most
protein powders taste terrible, and who knows what's in them.
But here's the thing: Flavored
protein powders taste like what they taste like.
And let's be real... more often than not
protein powder tastes like chalk.
The protein powder tastes wonderful, is sugar free, xylitol and stevia free, using the low - glycemic lao han extract (monk fruit) as the sweetening agent.
If you find
the protein powder taste to be a little overwhelming, try using just 1/2 a scoop, and add a little plain greek yogurt.
Since whey
protein powder tastes a bit off on its own, it typically comes in a variety of satisfying flavors like chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, all of which are perfect for a late night smoothie.
It didn't have
the protein powder taste that some other protein bars I've tried have.

Lately I've been stirring collagen
protein into my oats as the collagen
powder dissolves completely and doesn't change the
taste or texture of the oatmeal at all, it just brings in a good 10g of
protein!
I use unflavoured
protein powder in this recipe for a
protein boost, but use your favourite
protein powder (I'm just not really a fan of the fake sweetener
taste of a lot of flavoured
protein powders).
Also, don't be scared to mix chocolate
protein powder with greens, if you go with a lighter flavor of greens you can't even
taste them... just chocolaty deliciousness.
With frozen sweet potatoes (previous roasted and chopped), milk of choice,
protein powder, cinnamon, and vanilla, this delicious energy smoothie
tastes like pie.
The collagen
powder gives the bars a big punch of
protein, while the cocoa butter lends a subtle «chocolate»
taste, without the actual cocoa.
What makes this the best thing I've ever made with
protein powder though is the fact that it
TASTES like an actual MCC.
If your
protein powder is sweet enough, omit using the sweetener all together (you can
taste the batter to adjust the sweetness to your liking).

I've tried different varieties of Vega
protein powders and they all have that tell - tale Stevia
taste - sickly sweet and not in a good way.
The Vanilla Hemp
Protein powder at Trader Joe's is good in a pinch (some people think this
tastes too «woody» but I don't really notice it)!
Men 2 scoops of
protein powder 1 - 2 cups of vegetables (like spinach, which doesn't affect the
taste) 2 handfuls of fruit (fresh or frozen) 2 tablespoons of healthy fat (a nut butter or seed for example) Mixer (almond milk, regular milk, water — your choice)

I love this
protein powder, I have tried many vegan
protein powders and they either
taste awful, they don't mix well (it is important to mix this
powder with your liquids BEFORE you add the dry stuff or it will get clumpy) or have sunflower lectin, soy or gluten after I found out that I am allergic to dairy, soy, gluten, sunflower seeds, green beans, yeast and basically everything good and this is by far and wide the best.
The avocados also help provide a nice hit of healthy fats and a small
protein hit (though you can add a vanilla
protein powder to boost — it
tastes delicious!)
I want to get the calories down for weight loss though so my updated recipe is: 6 oz brewed organic coffee cold, 6 oz unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop organic plant based
protein powder, 1 tsp pure vanilla extract, 1 tbs organic cocoa, 1 egg yolk, stevia to
taste, and contents of 2 probiotic capsules.
I don't eat red meat and was really grossed out by this but I put it in my morning smoothie with coconut water, banana, spinach, and
protein powder and it all blends in fine you can't even
taste it.

I always opt for the unflavored option with any type of
protein shakes and add some cacao

Another alternative is to buy some

powder that has
taste and mix it into your fat bomb smoothie.
To give some additional
taste to the ketogenic ice cream I recommend to either use blueberry flavored
protein powder or chocolate flavored
protein powder.
There are many different
tastes available in
protein whey
powder such as blueberry, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.
In this smoothie, the spinach will turn it green and add a vitamin one - two punch without
tasting «green»; the bee pollen will help you ward off all of those pesky allergens that seem to be plaguing us this time of year; the chia seeds add omega fatty acids and additional thickeners to the smoothie; and the
protein powder adds a bit more creaminess and some
protein to balance the carbs.
Despite having mostly terrible experiences with
protein powders, I refused to give up in finding one that
tasted decent.
I have yet to find a vegan
protein powder that doesn't
taste like dirt though, but I've heard great things about Sunwarrior!!

I haven't
tasted Plnt, nor do I plan to, because one glance at the nutrition facts label and ingredient list is all I needed to determine that this
protein powder is complete crap.
It actually
tastes like carrot cake and it has an option to add
protein powder to increase the
protein content if you want.
I love the
taste of this smoothie so much that I've also been known to add a scoop of
protein powder to make an epic post-workout beverage.
I have had the hardest time finding
protein powders that we can have that don't
taste nasty or have ingredients that I am ok with.
Loads of
protein, but it is a little chalky and still
tastes more like
protein powder than it does like a cookie.
